Let Your Avon Customers Spoil Their Moms this Mothers Day

Did you know that Mother's Day is the second largest card giving holiday of the season (Christmas/Holidays is number one).

So let's take advantage of that by offering FREE mother's day cards with every Avon purchase over $30 (You can usually pick up some nice cards from cheap stores in boxes of 20 or more). Or perhaps you'd like to offer FREE gift wrapping instead - another great reason to buy their Avon products from you on Mothers Day.

Treat's to add in your Brochure Bag

As you know I'm a huge fan of giving gifts to my customers. It increases loyalty and people really appreciate it. But of course you don't want your treats to eat into your profits, so usually I add something very inexpensive. And I don't add gifts every campaign, just at special occasions.

At Mother's Day I just like to give free sample packs of luxury items. Usually I add a lipstick sample, perfume sample and maybe a bubble bath sample as well. I also include instructions such as:

'Light some candles and take a luxurious bubble bath. Wrap yourself in a fluffy towel and dab on the perfume. Add some lipstick and go and greet your hubby - just make sure the kids are in bed!'

You would be amazed at how many orders I get from doing this.

Mother's Day Gift Basket Ideas

You could stick with the same old basics, perfume, makeup and skin care. But recently my spa gift packs have become very popular.

Offering Ready Made Gift Baskets helps husbands and kids choose the perfect gift for their mom. Price them according to how much they cost you and throw in gift wrapping for free.

Have a few at different price's so they suit every budget. $20, $35 & $50 packs usually sell the best.

Here are my favorite's for Mother's Day:

  • Spa Delights Basket
    Fill a basket with Avon's Planet Spa range. Add a natural colored face cloth and a body brush.

  • Natural Mama
    The new Botanical's skin care range is gorgeous, who wouldn't want a pack of that! Wrap the body wash and body moisturizer in clear cellophane and tie with a green ribbon - makes an inexpensive but beautiful pack.

  • Peachy Pamper Pack
    The theme of this pack is peach products - so find as many products that have that theme and put them together with a peach colored ribbon. I like to put in a peach lip gloss, hand soap, & peach naturals body spritz together with a gift card that says something like 'Mom's are ALWAYS PEACHY'
